A different light gives other vision. Not all things can be seen or grasped clearly at once. For me, light in this artwork symbolises the different perspectives that can completely influence the same situation. Often you cannot change the situation; but how you perceive the situation, the conclusions you form, and how you engage with the situation is something you can consciously work with. This artwork shows that you can shine several lights on the same abstractions of which each gives the artwork its own unique colour and character. The realisation that you are able to influence your perception has a healing effect in every situation.
